Two hours from Hyderabad, and a world away - feed the cows, walk the trails, plant a tree, and breathe.
There is no ticket counter here, no gift shop at the gate. You arrive to the sound of the herd, the smell of woodsmoke and fresh grass, and the quiet of the hills. You will feed a cow from your own hand, sit among the calves, walk a forest trail that did not exist ten years ago, plant a tree that will outlive you, and eat a simple sattvic meal on a banana leaf. People come for an afternoon and leave having slowed their whole life down a notch. That is the real offering - the cows, and the calm.
Every fee is a suggested seva contribution - it feeds the cows and keeps the gate open. Under-5s always free.
A gentle rhythm, never rushed. Come for the morning, or stay through the evening aarti.
~30 km from Mahabubnagar, ~100 km (≈2 hrs) from Hyderabad. Self-drive, or add our shared coach. We will share a pin and directions on booking.
Cool mornings and evenings are loveliest; June-February is most pleasant. We welcome visitors year-round, weather permitting.
Simple, modest, comfortable clothes and closed shoes for the trails. The ground is earthen and uneven in places.
All meals are pure-vegetarian, sattvic (no onion or garlic), cooked fresh on-site and served on banana leaf.
Children are welcome and love the calves. Tell us in advance about elderly guests or mobility needs and we will help.
Our cows are gentle, but they are large animals - follow your guide, move calmly, and let them come to you.
There is no online calendar yet - and we like it that way. Tell us your date and how many are coming, and we will hold your place, share directions, and arrange your meals (and a coach, if you need one).

On the cow-honouring days, the whole kshetra is decorated and the cows are bathed, garlanded, and worshipped. Visitors are warmly welcome - and you can sponsor the day's seva.
The day of cow-worship (Oct-Nov) - alankara, go-puja, and feasting for the herd.
Annakut after Diwali - a mountain of food offered, echoing the lifting of the hill.
The Telugu harvest day that honours cattle - our most local, joyful celebration (mid-Jan).
Both, gently. The amounts are suggested seva contributions that cover your food and the cows' care. If cost is a barrier and you wish to serve, write to us - no sincere seeker is turned away.
Yes. A short darshan-and-feed visit can be arranged; the packages above are for those who want the fuller day with meals and activities.
Very much so - it is calm and unhurried. Just let us know in advance so we can plan shade, seating, and an easy route.
Yes for donations and CSR contributions. (80G registration is in process; receipts are issued accordingly.)
Pick a date, bring your family, and spend a day that stays with you.
